This is the second semester of a two-semester course in chemistry intended primarily for pre-nursing students. The course will study the classes of organic molecules
including their common uses and physical and chemical properties. Students will also obtain an introductory look at the structure and function of biological macromolecules. The chapter numbers correspond to the chapters in the required textbook:
"Introduction to General, Organic & Biochemistry", 6th edition, Harcourt College Publishers. The lab component is a separate course and must be taken concurrently. |
